Yoga is just stretching
That's what they say, and in a sense it's true. It's an exercise, a set of shapes, a class. It won't change anything, unless you practice consistently and begin to notice. Then a new way of being slowly emerges: a different connection to your body, a steadier presence, a life lived with more intention and care for yourself and others.
It doesn't much matter why or how you got to your mat. Only that you find effort and ease in the challenge, because that balance reverberates through the rest of your life.
